The Whittington U’s Defensive Pistol III Course is the Advanced Level
Defensive Sidearm instruction that focuses on Lowlight/No-light engagements,
while employing a strong fundamental interaction with the firearm, and
flashlight, along with Principles of Cover. Support side engagements with
the Non-Dominant hand are also included in this training, with a scenario-based
engagement rounding out the Course.
The WU Defensive Pistol series focuses on Violence as a Means of
Last Resort with the defense of ourselves and our loved ones as part of an
overall lifestyle change.
Defensive Pistol III will cover:
Static Fire/Body Position Refresher Drills
Individual Movement/Principles of Cover (PoC) Drills on Reactive
Fire
Range
Advanced Movement Drills (AMD)
Lowlight/No-light Engagements
Support Side Engagements
Scenario Based Engagement
Note: This is a progressive curriculum.

1400-1530 – Planes Drill
1530-1700 – Free Movement Drill
1700-2030 – Evening Meal Break
2030-0030 – Lowlight/No-light Engagements
