Practical Pistol Masters:  Risk Assessment

The Practical Pistol Masters Risk Assessment Course focuses on the everyday situations that can occur, and assessing the risk(s) involved, to enable the best course of action in a defensive engagement.

The WU Practical Pistol series focuses on Violence as a Means of Last Resort, with the defense of ourselves and our loved ones as part of an overall lifestyle change.

 Practical Pistol Risk Assessment Masters includes:

         .  Static Fire Drills

      .  Red Dot Drills

      .  Close Threat Drills – Static/Corridor-Standing/Corridor-Alternate

         Firing Positions

      .  Timed Engagements

      .  Scenario Based Engagements

 

Note: This is a progressive curriculum. We require students to take the courses in succession: PPI - PPII - PPIII - Masters

 What you will need: (a detailed list will be sent with Course Welcome letter)

  • ·         Sidearm (semi-automatic or revolver) .32cal or larger
  • ·         3 magazines/speed loader minimum
  • ·         500 rounds ammunition

No Handloaded Ammunition Allowed

 Course Schedule: Practical Pistol Masters Risk Assessment

Day 1:

0800-0930 – Static Fire Drills w/Cover

0930–1030 – Red Dot Drills

1030–1130 – Close Threat Drill

1130-1300 - Lunch

1300-1600 – Close Threat Corridor Drills

1600 – 1630:  Final Discussion

Day 2: 

0800-0930 – Static Fire Drills w/Cover

0930–1130 – Close Threat Corridor Drills; Alternate Firing Positions

1130 – 1300 - Lunch

1300–1400 - Timed Engagement Drills

1400–1500 – Precision Shooting Drill

1500-1630 – Scenario Based Engagements

1630-1700 – Final Discussion

Course participants may also purchase an ammunition package with the appropriate round count.

**AMMUNITION PACKAGE IS RESTRICTED TO ONE PER PERSON PER COURSE**

This is a progressive curriculum and must be taken in order:  PPI - PPII – PPIII – PP Masters.  Each course curriculum leads into the next.

Masters Courses are designed to present challenging scenarios based on real world situations.  Students can choose the Masters they would like to attend based on the topic; the only pre-requisite for Masters is PPI - PPIII.
