Practical Shotgun I is a 2-day Introductory to Intermediate Level Course that focuses on the defensive implementation of the shotgun platform. The Shotgun is one of the more common defensive tools found in the home; Practical Shotgun I will instill a strong fundamental interaction with the firearm.
Practical Shotgun I will highlight classroom instruction on Internal Ballistics, External Ballistics, Terminal Ballistics, and Defensive Marksmanship Techniques as it relates directly to the shotgun platform. Range instruction includes Principles of Cover, Close Quarter Manipulation and Movement Techniques.
Note: Practical Shotgun I required prior to taking Practical Shotgun II.

1300-1530: Static Fire Drills
